Product Description
This flush CleanSpace door is manufactured to integrate directly with 2” (50mm) modular CleanSpace wall panels, creating a continuous, ledge-free interface on both sides of the wall system. Key integration features:
- Flush-to-panel installation
- Aluminum 6063 box extrusion frame
- RAL 5013 matte powder-coated finish
- Concealed fasteners
- No applied trim or surface raceways
- Designed to maintain CleanSpace pressure differentials
The result is a pharmaceutical-grade door assembly that supports ISO-classified environments and routine disinfection protocols.
Walkable Aluminum Honeycomb Ceiling Panels for GMP and Controlled Environments
The CleanSpace Apex Ceiling Walkable system is a high-load cleanroom ceiling panel designed for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and controlled environment applications. Engineered using an aluminum honeycomb core with structural framing, this system provides a walkable ceiling solution with high strength-to-weight performance and cleanroom-compatible finishes.
Designed for integration with modular cleanroom systems, Apex Ceiling panels support overhead access requirements while maintaining a flush, sealed ceiling surface suitable for GMP environments.
Engineered for Walkable Cleanroom Ceiling Systems
Apex Ceiling panels are designed to function as structural ceiling decks capable of supporting personnel loads when installed with CleanSpace ceiling hanger systems. The aluminum honeycomb core construction provides high stiffness and load capacity while minimizing overall weight.
Panels are engineered for spans up to 10 feet and are rated for distributed and point loading conditions consistent with cleanroom service requirements.
Panel Construction and Materials
The Apex Ceiling system utilizes a composite panel construction consisting of an aluminum honeycomb core, steel facings, and a structural aluminum perimeter frame.
Standard configuration includes a 2” (50mm) panel thickness with a 3/4” aluminum honeycomb core. The room-side facing consists of a uPVC-coated steel surface designed for cleanroom use, while the top-side backing utilizes galvanized steel.
Panels are bonded using a two-part solvent-free adhesive and incorporate aluminum cruciform splines for alignment and structural continuity.
Cleanroom Surface Performance
The room-side surface features a uPVC laminate finish designed for cleanroom and controlled environment applications. This finish provides resistance to chemicals, cleaning agents, and abrasion while maintaining a smooth, non-shedding surface.
The system is compatible with common cleanroom disinfectants including hydrogen peroxide, alcohol-based cleaners, and quaternary ammonium solutions, supporting routine GMP cleaning protocols.
Structural Performance and Testing
Apex Ceiling panels are tested to multiple structural standards including ASTM E72 for transverse and axial load performance and ASTM E695 for impact resistance. Testing demonstrates the ability to support significant loads while maintaining structural integrity.
Typical performance includes panel load ratings up to approximately 30 psf depending on span and configuration, with validated performance under point loading conditions.
Independent testing and certification documentation is included within the system package, supporting engineering review and project compliance requirements.
Installation and System Integration
The Apex Ceiling system is designed for rapid installation as part of a progressive modular build system. Panels are joined using aluminum spline connections and sealed with silicone joints to achieve a flush, continuous ceiling surface.
The system integrates with cleanroom lighting, HEPA modules, and service penetrations while maintaining structural and environmental performance.
Finish Options
Standard finishes include uPVC-coated steel for cleanroom applications. Additional finish options are available including PET-coated steel, polyester-coated steel, pre-painted aluminum, and stainless steel surfaces for specialized environments.
Antistatic coatings are available for semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing applications requiring electrostatic discharge control.
Compliance and Quality
Manufactured in the USA. Designed for GMP-regulated environments. Tested to ASTM E72 and ASTM E695 standards. Complies with flame spread and smoke development requirements for interior building materials.
Suitable for cleanroom validation, pharmaceutical applications, and controlled environment construction.
