Product Description

This flush CleanSpace door is manufactured to integrate directly with 2” (50mm) modular CleanSpace wall panels, creating a continuous, ledge-free interface on both sides of the wall system.
Key integration features:

  • Flush-to-panel installation
  • Aluminum 6063 box extrusion frame
  • RAL 5013 matte powder-coated finish
  • Concealed fasteners
  • No applied trim or surface raceways
  • Designed to maintain CleanSpace pressure differentials

The result is a pharmaceutical-grade door assembly that supports ISO-classified environments and routine disinfection protocols.

The CleanSpace Aero Core is a ducted HEPA ceiling diffuser system.

It's designed to deliver unidirectional laminar airflow for pharmaceutical cleanrooms, healthcare environments, and ISO-classified spaces. This fully welded, room-side replaceable HEPA module provides controlled air distribution while maintaining strict particulate control and cleanroom performance requirements.

Engineered for integration into modular cleanroom ceiling systems, Aero Core delivers consistent airflow, reliable filtration, and simplified maintenance for GMP-regulated environments.

Engineered for Laminar Airflow Performance

Aero Core is designed to control airborne particulate by delivering low-velocity, unidirectional laminar airflow into the cleanroom space. This minimizes entrainment of contaminated air and supports stable environmental conditions required for critical operations.

The system functions as a non-aspirating diffuser, meeting performance and construction requirements for healthcare and cleanroom airflow applications.

HEPA Filtration and Seal Integrity

The Aero Core system utilizes high-efficiency HEPA filtration to remove 99.99% of particles at 0.3 microns. A gel seal filter frame combined with a knife-edge housing interface ensures a positive seal that prevents bypass and maintains cleanroom integrity.

Room-side replaceable filters allow maintenance without disturbing ceiling systems or plenum connections, reducing downtime and preserving cleanroom conditions.

Welded Housing and Leak-Free Construction

All Aero Core housings are fully welded to eliminate potential leak paths and prevent contamination ingress. Each unit is factory leak tested and certified in accordance with IEST-RP-CC034 to ensure performance prior to installation.

This construction approach supports GMP validation requirements and ensures consistent performance in regulated environments.

Integrated Airflow Control and HVAC Connection

Aero Core modules include a top-entry duct collar designed for secure connection to HVAC systems. The inlet collar is ribbed and can be supplied with duct retention features to prevent flexible duct blow-off.

An integrated butterfly damper allows precise airflow adjustment to balance the system and maintain required cleanroom air change rates.

Testing and Validation Features

The system is designed to support cleanroom commissioning and ongoing validation. Integrated aerosol sampling ports and optional aerosol injection systems allow for room-side testing and certification of filter performance.

These features support standard cleanroom testing procedures, including aerosol challenge testing and airflow verification.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Aero Core units are designed for routine cleaning and long-term durability in controlled environments. The powder-coated finish is compatible with hospital-grade disinfectants and cleaning agents.

Quarter-turn fasteners and retained access panels provide straightforward access to filters and internal components, allowing efficient maintenance without specialized tools.

Construction and Materials

The Aero Core system is manufactured with an aluminum plenum and integrated knife-edge frame. The diffuser face consists of 304 stainless steel perforated panels with an internal support frame.

Standard finishes include a white powder-coated plenum and frame, designed for cleanroom compatibility. External insulation options are available for thermal performance and condensation control.

Standard Sizes and Performance

Aero Core modules are available in standard cleanroom sizes including 24” x 24” and 24” x 48” configurations. Typical airflow ranges from 100 to 600 CFM depending on size and system design, with corresponding static pressure values optimized for laminar flow performance.

Filter modules are available in 53 mm thickness with pressure drops around 0.70 in. w.g. at rated airflow conditions.

Compliance and Quality

Manufactured in the USA. Designed to meet ASHRAE 170 requirements for healthcare and cleanroom airflow systems. Factory tested for leak-free performance in accordance with IEST standards. Suitable for GMP-regulated facilities and cleanroom validation protocols.

Applications

Pharmaceutical manufacturing cleanrooms USP <797> and USP <800> compounding environments Hospital operating rooms and critical care spaces ISO 5–8 cleanrooms Biotechnology and life sciences facilities Semiconductor and advanced manufacturing environments Aseptic processing and sterile fill-finish suites
